Living on Country

My artwork reflects the deep connection between the land and where the waterways meet. The flowing lines and colours celebrate the beauty of country drawing from both their textures and rhythms. It brings together the strength of community living today while honouring our elders who kept our culture alive. 
The many middens of shells and bones still found on country today are depicted to tell the story of our ancestors and how rich in resources their lives would have been. It promotes caring for country and country will care for us.
This piece is a celebration of how lucky we are to be living on the east coast.
