Lomandra Coast Songlines

This artwork is a reflection of place, memory, and connection. Woven from native lomandra grass—long used for its strength and versatility—Lomandra Coast Songline honours the knowledge held within traditional weaving practices and the stories they carry.

Decorated with quandong seeds and soft emu feathers, each element represents a part of Country: the nourishing land, the life it sustains, and the spirits that move through it. The background canvas,  symbolises ancient songlines—pathways that map stories, journeys, and ancestral wisdom across the landscape.
