Created from illustrations for the children’s book Adventures at My Nanny’s House, this magnet set introduces young readers to Gumbaynggirr language through family, storytelling and the native animals of Country.

Illustrated by emerging Gumbaynggirr artist Dakotah Ballangarry from Corindi Beach, the works are inspired by the ocean, nature and the environment around her. Through her practice, Dakotah explores connection to Country and storytelling, grounded in place and culture.
