Handcrafted quandong necklaces by Kathy Stevens.  One has aqua marine gemstone chips with pearl beads, the other has tier eye gemstone chips with small beads.

About the Artist

Kathy Stevens (Webb) is a descendant of the Dharug people of Sydney, from the Boorooberongal clan. Kathy moved to the Coffs Harbour region in 1985 and has called Gumbaynggirr Country home for nearly 40 years.

Drawing inspiration from the land and community where she raised her three children, Kathy creates works using natural fibres and materials. For Kathy, creating is a form of meditation — a way to heal the soul, remain grounded and maintain a strong connection to the earth.
