Brentyn Lugnan is a proud Gumbaynggirr man from Urunga on the NSW North Coast is an experienced artist, having attended the Sydney College of Fine Arts, TAFE and the EORA Centre in Sydney. He has worked as a Graphic Designer for Television with SBS, an Animator on ‘The Dreaming Series’ at Aboriginal Nations for the ABC and is co-founder of Bruz Design, clothing and graphics. Brentyn has painted everything from trains to graves. A featured artist in the Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance Art Book. His designs appears in rugs and acoustic screens in the Westpac building at Barangaroo, Darling Harbour and in the Coffs Courthouse throughout the foyer. Brentyn’s design ‘Seed Dreaming’ was made into Aboriginal lace and became part of the ‘pop up’ shop for the ‘String Theory’ exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
