This piece draws inspiration from the emu—a guardian of Country and keeper of stories. The flowing design of emu feathers encircles an eye-like form, symbolising an ever-present spirit watching over land, people, and the paths we walk. Through this work, the artist honours the deep connection between culture, nature, and the unseen presence that guides and protects.
