Dolphin Tribe captures the beauty and harmony of dolphins moving together in groups of three. Inspired by memories of drives from Rockhampton to Yeppoon, this artwork celebrates the connection and unity found in nature. Fisher’s use of vibrant colours and fluid forms evokes the grace and companionship of these marine creatures, inviting viewers to reflect on the bonds we share within our own communities.

Artists Bio
Her passion and influence comes from both her auntie’s stories and her faith:
“My Aunties communicated our history and family connections through art and stories that have been handed down to me through the generations. I have vivid memories of gathering with my community on sacred land, dancing, sleeping, creating arts and crafts, sitting around a campfire and listening to my Elders."
Verqelle has now moved to Birpai Country with her children more than 10 years ago and this new life has had a major influence on her art.
