Madison Pitman is a proud Murrwarri women (mukinj) who has strong connections to Biripi Country and its people. She learnt to weave from her mother when she was 10 years old and felt a profound connection to the materials and rhythmic nature of weaving. She explores her culture through painting, basket weaving, string making and earring making.
