Artist Statement:
I am a line artist whose practice is rooted in the longlines of dreaming—threading connection to Country through each stroke and mark I make. My work draws deep inspiration from the wisdom and ways of my old people, who nurtured our stories, culture, and Country with reverence.
They painted with ochres and earth, gathered from the land with care, turning the natural world into living language.
Through my lines, I follow their path—creating visual songlines that speak of lore, belonging, and the sacred ties we hold with Country.
Every line is a symbol of communication, a memory passed on, a continuation of our story. My art is not just a practice, but a conversation with
the ancestors, a tribute to their strength and spirit, and a way of keeping culture alive through contemporary hands.
