Collection: Donna Albany
Donna Albany is a Kalkadoon woman living on Bundjalung Country. An artist and art educator, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts, specialising in ceramics and painting. Her works traverse between the rugged ocean surroundings of her coastal home and the vast arid terrain of her ancestral country. Her ceramic platters, coolamons, and paintings reflect the textures, colours, and stories of these landscapes, inviting contemplation and connection to Place. Each work is both a personal narrative and an invitation for viewers to reflect on their own connections to Country. Through intuitive mark-making and cultural memory, my art becomes a visual dialogue between land, identity, and spirit.
