Dale Elliott

I was born in Gundagai NSW Australia and am a proud Wiradjuri man from that area. I have been living in Coffs Harbour for 15 years. I have been painting for some 30 years and my artwork is held in many international, national Government, private and public collections. I am inspired by my culture, my connection to country and nature. My paintings on surfboards represent the contemporary culture of Australia and my images and designs represent our continuous connection to water - both freshwater and saltwater and the pathways that connect us to each other.

All of my artworks are stories of my life, taken from various important moments special to me and my family. I use a mix of sketching and dot work inspired by the elders who taught me in school which has stuck with me throughout my life which I continue to use throughout my art to this day.
