Stories of Spirit and Sky

For First Nations peoples, the sky is more than a vast expanse above—it is a map of ancestral stories, a guide for life, and a reflection of Country.

Stories of Spirit and Sky

June 7 - August 2 2025

Stories of Spirit & Sky explores the deep connections between land, sky, and spirit, as told through Indigenous perspectives. This exhibition brings together artworks that honour the knowledge passed down through generations—of constellations that guide, spirits that protect and skies that hold the echoes of ancient wisdom. Each piece is a testament to the enduring relationship between people and the cosmos, where stories are not just told, but lived.

Through art, we are invited to see the sky as First Nations peoples have always known it: a living story, woven with culture, identity, and spirit.
