Collection: Georgia Elliott
I am a proud Wiradjuri artist currently based in Coffs Harbour, where I draw inspiration from both my cultural heritage and the natural environment around me. While my primary medium is painting, I have also explored other forms of artistic expression, including working with clay and various design materials. My creative practice is deeply rooted in storytelling and cultural preservation. Through my art, I aim to highlight significant issues such as the extinction of native animal species, raising awareness of the environmental challenges they face. Equally important in my work is the representation of Aboriginal history, which I seek to honour and share through visual narratives.
Each piece I create is a reflection of my connection to Country, my identity, and the stories that have been passed down through generations. By blending traditional themes with contemporary techniques, I strive to create meaningful works that educate, inspire, and provoke thought about the urgent need to protect both our cultural heritage and the natural world.
