This painting explores the idea of a place that feels safe—not home, but something close. It may be a friend’s living room, a quiet park bench, a corner café, or even a familiar street at dusk. These are the spaces where we exhale, where our shoulders drop and we feel seen without having to explain ourselves. Through light, texture, and intimate detail, this work invites the viewer to reflect on the quiet sanctuaries in their own lives—the places that hold us gently, even when they aren’t ours.
