Divided distractions

This painting is a gentle reminder that doing too much isn’t always doing well. In the rush of a busy week, we often forget to pause, to breathe, to simply be. The layers of this work speak to the chaos of over-scheduling—overlapping forms, restless lines, or contrasting colours—yet at its heart, there’s a quiet space, a moment of stillness. It’s an invitation to slow down just a little. To honour rest, to find balance, and to give ourselves permission to not always be productive.
